Technology was designed to make the life of the user easier and cell phones are no exception. All phones now come with built in GPS so users don’t get lost, a MP3 player so users don’t have to fumble with the radio, and a camera so no one ever misses that perfect photo moment. Unfortunately, while cell phones are great at capturing memories, sharing these images are a hassle that can make even the most technology savvy person dread using their camera.

Previously, the only way to share a photo taken with a phone was to forward the message via text, send it in an email, or use a USB cord to hook the phone up to a computer. Each method is extremely time consuming, especially if the photo is being shared with multiple people. For this reason, the wireless photo bump was created.

Cell phones have been sharing data via bump for several years now, but up until recently these applications were only able to share information through other cell phones. Bump has taken this technology a step further by now allowing users to link their phone to their computer with a few clicks of a mouse.  The personal use aspects of Bump are pretty obvious, remember though, it can also benefit you professionally.  Just imagine how much time you can save as a real estate agent by not having to wait for your smartphone and PC to sync ever again.

Easy setup steps

The setup process is extremely simple. All users have to do is download the app from the marketplace and then visit the company’s website on their computers. Once logged in, users must select the photos they wish to transfer and then bump their phone to their computer. To confirm the transfer, simply press the space button and the images will begin to transfer. That’s all there is to it. No USB cord, software, or other confusing programs are needed, just a simple website and space button.  Once the images are uploaded onto the computer, users are free to share and edit the photos in any desired way.
