There are so many things that we can do with the iPhone®. It is easy to surf the internet, make calls to friends, play music and more. For every iPhone owner, there are sure to be a number of things we do on the phone that include multiple taps and steps. Launch Center Pro is an app that allows you to automate these repetitive steps through creating quick and easy-to-use shortcuts to specific features within apps. If you’re looking to call a family member, message a good friend, send a tweet or maybe turn your iPhone into a flashlight this app gets it done faster than ever before!

Here is a list of actions I use:
• New Contact Record
• Tweet directly from the Launch Center App
• New Note Draft (SimpleNote App)
• Journal Entry
• New Task Launch (Omnifocus App)

Twelve different actions can be programmed on the main screen of the app. When the app is opened, the main screen looks like a basic version of the iPhone home screen. Shortcut icons can be created by choosing one of the shortcuts in the settings menu. These can be things such as calling a particular family member or going to a specific website in Safari®. There is also the ability to group similar actions into organized groups. This gives the user a good amount of customization.

The use of groups can be quite helpful when it comes to getting the most out of the app. Since there are only twelve spots for action buttons, groups are essential. One group can be made for phone calls. Simply tap and hold the particular icon and more icons for that group to appear. Slide to the desired button and the call will be placed. Further customization allows alerts to be made as well. A call from one of these contacts will never be missed.

There are literally thousands of apps that are available for the iPhone. Launch Center Pro is successful and useful only if there are a good amount of apps that work with the program. For an app to work with Launch Center Pro there needs to be sharing of URL schemes by the developers. In many cases, developers from different apps are reluctant to offer up such information. Depending on the user, there may be enough apps that are supported for it to be worthwhile.

In some cases, there is a bit of a lag when it comes to switching apps and going through the steps of launching things. There are a limited number of actions available, so there may be some things that users are not able to do with their apps.

As with many apps, Launch Center Pro is not perfect, but it is a great option for people looking to be more productive with their iPhones.
