Nov 1-5: 45th Northwest Filmmaker’s Festival

For 45 years and counting, the Northwest Filmmaker’s Festival has brought audiences and industry artists together to celebrate their local work. More than 400 submissions are made each year in Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Montana, Alaska and British Columbia. Join us this week to review, recognize and award these films and their creators!

Nov 10: Northwest Food & Wine Festival 2018

The Northwest Food and Wine Festival returns for its 13th year of celebrating food and wine! Here you’ll find the best and highest of quality regional wines, spirits, beers, foods, chefs and restaurants.


Nov 9-11: 28th Annual Holiday Food & Gift Festival

Recognized as one of the largest holiday events in the Northwest, the Holiday Food & Gift Celebration draws thousands of attendees annually. Over 300 exhibitors will fill the Oregon Convention Center with their art, crafts, music, photography, clothing, jewelry, Christmas décor and so much more. Get your holiday shopping done early!


Nov 12: Portland Veterans Day Parade

Join Portlanders as they honor veterans in the 2018 Portland Veterans Day Parade.  The parade assembles on NE 40th & Tillamook and travels along NE 40th turning East onto NE Sandy Blvd. Featuring floats, marching bands, local organizations, vehicles and much more!


Nov 17-18: Wild Arts Festival

For the 38th year in a row, the Wild Arts Festival celebrates the work of regionally and nationally known painters, sculptors, jewelers, photographers, woodworkers, authors, novelists, poets and more!  The festival will be housed in Montgomery Park, features a silent auction, and benefits the Audubon Society of Portland.


Nov 22: Turkey Trot at the Zoo

The Oregon Road Runners Club and Columbia Bank invite you to join them at the Oregon Zoo for this 4 mile run & walk. Baby joggers, runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome to participate! Approximately $25,000 of entry fees will benefit the Oregon Zoo. Thanksgiving costumes are encouraged!


Nov 22: Portland Tofurky Trot

The Tofurky Trot 2018 is a 5k trot designed to support local communities and fundraise for local non-profits supporting a compassionate plant-based lifestyle. Open to all levels of physical fitness! Located at The Historic Dance Pavilion at Oaks Amusement Park. The money raised from the Trot goes to support Northwest VEG, Wildwood Farm Sanctuary, Out to Pasture Sanctuary, Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary, and Green Acres Farm Sanctuary.


Nov 23: 34th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join thousands of Portland at the Square for the Portland Tree Lighting Ceremony! The 75ft Douglas Fir provided by Stimson Lumber Company will tower and twinkle above the bricks of Portland’s living room. A magical evening of music, lights and entertainment for the entire family.


Nov 23 – Dec 2: Portland’s Singing Christmas Tree

Portland’s Singing Christmas Tree features a 300-voice choir, 26 new songs, a cinematic Nativity, Santa, the Jefferson dancers, Katie Harman, and Georgene Rice at the Keller Auditorium.
