Feb 1-2: Portland Seafood & Wine Festival

The 14th annual Portland Seafood & Wine Festival returns to the Oregon Convention Center! This Portland tradition will feature Oregon seafood, Oregon wine & craft beers, sand sculptures, face painting, balloon artists and much more. Bring the family!


Feb 1 – Feb 16: 36th Annual Reel Music Festival

This film and music festival is an annual showcase that explores the interplay between sound, image, music and culture. The festival features collections of vintage performances, documentaries, music videos, and animations. It also explores a wide variety of music genres including rock, blues, jazz, classical, opera and avant-garde


Feb 2: 13th Annual Hōʻike

The Kiako Foundation hosts its 13th annual Hōʻike at Portland Community College Sylvania Campus. This Hawaiian event features Lu’au with Ohana (family) style dining, a silent auction with items donated by local businesses & sponsors, and Polynesian dancing accompanied by live music played by the Kiako Foundation’s halau band!


Feb 5-Mar 19: Chinese New Year Festival

2019 is the Year of the Pig! Celebrate the Chinese New Year at Lan Su Chinese Garden! This cultural fair will feature martial arts, lion dances, cultural performances, and arts & crafts.


Feb 6-10: 2019 Pacific Northwest Sportsmen’s Show

This is the largest sportsmen show west of the Mississippi and one of the most anticipated events for outdoor sportsmen of all ages. For over four decades, this attraction has helped gear up outdoor gurus with the latest and greatest. Browse gear, boats, trailers, and an enormous variety of fishing, camping, hunting, and backpacking equipment. This is a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly experience.


Feb 9: Puplandia Valentine’s Shopping Extravaganza

Puplandia’s shopping extravaganza features over 50 vendors! Find everything from art, soaps, toys, dog treats, baked goods, and calendars. Also featuring a silent auction and a puppy kissing booth. Located at Oaks Park Dance Pavilion. Free.


Feb 14: Valentine’s Day with Smokey Robinson

The Motown legend Smokey Robinson performs hits like “The Tracks of My Tears” and “You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me” during his Valentine’s Day concert at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.


Feb 21-24: 72nd Annual Portland Spring Home & Garden Show

Feb 23: Polar Plunge

Join pledgers for the Polar Plunge charity event on Broughton Beach! Participants will strut their stuff in the costume contest before plunging into the frigid waters of the Columbia River! The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals to support Special Olympics Oregon athletes. $25 from every plunger goes to the local program in the plunger’s community.


Feb 28 – Mar 3: Portland Oregon Women’s Film Festival (POWFest)

The POW Film Festival is Portland’s premiere film festival showcasing films directed by women. 11 years strong, the festival features the work of today’s top women directors! It honors the true pioneers and recognizes the next generation of women filmmakers.
