The Portland Guadalajara Sister City Association presents the Portland Cinco de Mayo Fiesta. Enjoy live music and dancing, authentic food, waterfront rides, an artisan village, and fun located at Tom McCall Waterfront Park!

 

May 5: Cinco de Mayo Run/Walk

The 2019 Cinco de Mayo run/walk features a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and a half miler that start and end in the Fields Neighborhood Park in the Pearl District. Awesome awards, prizes, and giveaways!

 

May 11: Doggie Dash 2019

The Doggie Dash features two routes for both runners and walkers. Funds raised by the Oregon Humane Society’s Doggie Dash are used to fight animal cruelty, treat injured pets and find homes for more than 11,000 pets a year. Many of the day’s activities are free and will include: breakfast, a beverage, pet festival, live music, vendor booths, clinics, and canine contests!

 

May 12: Mother’s Day Brunch

May 12: 5th Annual Reigning Roses Walk

Join the Reigning Roses Walk 2019 to celebrate a special woman in your life on Mother’s Day. This event will feature a reception with beverages, treats, and entertainment at Castaway Portland. Participants will walk the 5k course through the streets of NW Portland and the top fundraising teams will be eligible for prizes!

 

May 18: Red Dress Party 2019

This year’s theme is “Totally Red!”. Grab your gown and prepare to party while raising funds for Rock N’ Roll Camp for Girls and Bridging Voices! Men and women are required to wear red dresses for entry. Drink red cocktails, mingle and dance. 21 and over.

May 22: Festival of Flowers

The 2019 Festival of Flowers will feature “Paint the Town” designed by Walker Macy. This festival is one of Portland’s most innovative festivals that has been held at the square for over 30 years. Each year, The Square’s non-profit management organization works with local designers and regional growers to create a one-of-a-kind large-scale design of vibrant color utilizing over 20,000 flowers and plants.

 

May 24- June 9: 2019 Portland Rose Festival

Kick off the Portland Rose Festival by watching the opening night fireworks on May 24th. This ongoing Portland favorite will feature the CityFair, carnival rides, games, food, vendors, live entertainment, the Starlight Parade, the Grand Floral Parade, Dragon Boat Races, Fleet Week and so much more- all at Tom McCall Waterfront Park!
